Christmas Trees on Christmas Eve

so my friend was on a mission to get a Christmas tree for our friends that didn't have one but she didn't want to spend any money and thought it would be hilarious to get a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.  All the Christmas tree lots were closed on Christmas eve except for Home Depot.  It was sort of eerie walking in since there were sooooo many Christmas trees that no one had bought!
It was so sad... they were also at full price which i thought was sort of weird.  Well anyways while my friend was trying to explain what she was looking for i decided to take pictures with the dead wreath.

We finally successfully acquired the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree and i am not going to lie, it was WAY better then expected!!!
I asked what happens to the unsold trees and they are used for mulch so that's good :)  I hope you have fun today and do something like hid in a "fake forest of trees".

Post Christmas Cheer

Merry Belated Christmas!!! I hope you all had a great Christmas!!!! The highlights from my Christmas was spending time with my friends and giving gifts! Some of my favorite extra random gifts i got this year was this Giant Fish Flag that i am going to make into a costume or something.  It is literally as big as I am!  It is so beautiful and has the most amazing gold on it.

My second favorite gift is this awesome tapestry with these cute little figures on it.  It is also huge so i didn't know quite where to hang it!!

What where some of your favorite gifts this year?

Lost of love,
Casie

Birthday Festivities

My birthday was in October and i couldn't figure out how to log into my blog so you get to hear all about it now hahaha.  So better late then never right?!   Birthdays are sort of a big deal to me, not to celebrate me but just to be able to see all my friends at the same time and have fun.  When i was growing up i don't remember having fun birthdays and i definitely did not have fun birthdays from the time i was in high school until very recently.  Birthdays have definitely taken on a more exciting tone since i get to celebrate my birthday of not being crazy, insanely depressed, and lost.
In honor of God's grace and saving my life and giving me a second chance, i went on a mission to LA to find a pinata :).  I always love going to LA and catching up with old friends and going on fun adventures.  There is one street in LA that is COVERED with pinatas, when you walk in you are literally engulfed in pinatas.
There were so many fun ones and a ton of ginormous slightly scary looking ones haha.  I decided on the hello kitty on (of course).  Next up was finding things to fill the pinata with.  I decided on random erasers and bubbles.  Note to the wise do NOT put bubbles in something that is going to be beaten with a bat!

Thank you to all my friends that came out for my birthday! I love you!

Lots of fun bubble filled pinatas!

Oh Barbie, How I love you

Barbie is fantastic!  I have loved Barbies since i was little, and i still love them today!  I remember spending hours putting together outfits and taking her out on her Barbie "yacht".  Last time i was at Target i found these lovely gems, The Barbie Museum Collection!

I totally wish i could look like a barbie some days! The hair and make up are total art and some days i wish i could have as amazing hair as the van Gogh Barbie!!!

Lots of stiff Barbie Arm Hugs -

Sweet, Sweet Christmas Cheer

I love Christmas because it is a time to dress up, see family & dearly beloved friends, celebrate Jesus, AND good times with glitter!  I looove glitter!!! I love fun colors for Christmas decorations other then red and green like Pink!
These are some of the awesome ornaments i saw at Macy's.  I am in love with them, but they are $15 each soooooo i decided to make my own version of the cupcake ornament.  it ended up being way less expensive and pretty easy to do.
I took plastic ornaments from target, hot glued the paper cup on, used model magic to make the frosting, added glitter, and hot glued the holly berry "cherry" on top.

When i grow up i want a Christmas tree just like this one!

Merry Christmas!
