Coachella Beauty Survival Guide

Coachella Beauty Survival Guide
Coachella is right around the corner and here is a packing guide of beauty essentials that will make your Coachella experience pretty fantastic. Here are some of my essentials for looking fabulous while you are rocking out to the Black Keys

1. Sunscreen, there is nothing cute about skin cancer
·         Epicuren ActiveSport Treat Sunscreen SPF 30 (or Higher) it smells great and goes on clear

2. Lip liner in Pink, peach, or coraly-orange lip liner. Coral is the new in color this season and looks great on everyone. I like using lip liner because it doesn’t smear as easily and isn’t sticky. Use a light lip balm over to add moisture. The benefit is that it is small enough to carry in your purse.
·         NYX Lipliner in nectar, sand pink, coral, citrine
·         eos Smooth Lip Balm Sphere - add a light sheen and moisturize with natural ingrediants

3. Waterproof Eyeliner
·         Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner – black for the classic cat eye or spice things up with a hint of color at the corners or along the lower lash line

4. Primer – make sure your makeup stays put all day long

5. Waterproof Mascara

6. Bronzer
·         Rimmel Natural Bronzer - for that warm glow

7. Eyeshadow – since you will have your shades on most of the day I would emphasize lips and more nudes and shimmer on the lids. Some of my favorite shades come from Urban Decay and are beautiful
·          Urban Decay Vintage Eyeshadow – Polyester Bride, Maui Wowie, YDK, Vapor, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again

8. Makeup Setting Spray - to make sure your face doesn't sweat off
·         Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist Hydrating Spray – this is magic! I love it so much; it smells great and can be used on your hair as a light leave in conditioner, on your skin a light moisturizer. I love products that can be used for multi purposes.

9. Hair – got to keep those locks gorgous
·         Bobby pins
·         Hair ties
·         Scarves - to cover those roots on the last day
·         dry shampoo
·         baby powder – dust a little at the roots and brush out
·         PSSSSSST Instant Dry Shampoo– smells yummy and just spray at the roots and brush hair
·         Hair spray – is awesome and your best friend to extend out washing your hair. Do not use baby powder and hairspray together unless you want grayish looking hair.
·         Paul Mitchell Extra Body Spray – has a stronger hold to keep hair set all day
·         ColorProof AllAround Flexible Hold Hairspray – smells amazing and is easy to brush through

Have fun and stay safe!

Casie

EASTER FUN DAY SUNDAY

Easter Sunday

Easter is one of my favorite holidays.  I love it because the weather is excellent, bold spring colors are everywhere, and JESUS LIVES.

this was my sort of Easter outfit
Without God I would be nowhere.  I owe my sobriety and general happiness to God.  I hope everyone had fun and enjoyed Easter as much as I did.

I was able to be outside and go to church, then lunch with old friends and new.

Half of the Stadium at the Pacific Ampatheater for Rock Harbor Costa Mesa

Lots of Jelly Bean love,
Casie
